Development Work
The annual Spring Clean and tidy-up weekends are scheduled for Sunday 16th & Sunday 23rd March and as usual we will be asking for your support to come along and help get the Club ready for the new season. We will be starting from 10am on both mornings.
Please remember to bring wellies, gloves and any suitable tools you have (e.g. clippers/shovels/spades/brushes/strimmer/rake/gardening equipment etc.) that you think might be helpful and clothes suitable for painting. We will draw up a list of jobs that need doing and I look forward to seeing you then.
The floods have left a substantial amount of debris and rubbish around the boats and trailers on the triangle. Would you please tidy up around your immediate area and put all rubbish at the front of your trailer ready for collection on one of the spring clean days or it will be done for you without discretion. It’s very important to keep these areas clear because it’s extremely hazardous for the few who check your boats and keep them safe during the floods to access the area if there’s extra rubbish beneath the water.
As the new season approaches, please check your moorings and contact me if there are any problems.
